Ewan Cowley is a musician and producer based in Dublin, Ireland.

Ewan is the creator and musical director of new Irish theatre show Motherland Songs.

Ewan’s composition and sound design for live theatre include productions at The Abbey Theatre (Peacock Stage), Bewley’s Café Theatre and The Viking Theatre. For the screen Ewan co-composed the score for ‘Kubrick By Candlelight’, an award winning 2018 film by David O’Reilly.

As an orchestrator/arranger he has written for the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and The Orchestra of Ireland and works as a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. Studio and live credits including Moya Brennan, Celtic Woman, Hayley Westenra, Dónal Lunny, Seán Keane and Bill Whelan.

Ewan’s debut EP ‘The Elevated Life’ is a collection of original songs and music which has received wide airplay on Irish national radio. He also released and produced ‘Bluebonnet Spring’, an EP of duets with Irish singer Edel Murphy.
